Give your groom cocktail-hour off and indulge the entourage in an afternoon of fierce, upscale femininity at the Bridal Boudoir. Organized by Maddy K Events & Weddings Atelier, a team of style keeners and event innovators eager to breathe a limo-full of unique chic into Montreal’s Bridal Fashion scene, the affair will be nothing short of capital “V” Vogue. Hosted by Opus Montreal, you and your posh posse will be luxuriated twofold, both in the chandelier ensconced Koko Bar and Restaurant, done up Art Nouveau elegant with lush drapery, industrial framework and eye-popping electric accents, and the oh so mod Suco Resto Lounge, dressed to a T in clean, bold lines, yet illuminated in sheer melodrama.
The former will hold a fashion show outfitted by the city’s preeminent authority on style, catwalk connoisseur, and beauty junkie Tony Jordan, and the latter lends vendors du jour to field wedding queries in a relaxed, mingle-orientated, highly intimate environment. Marcy Blum, celebrity eventista, and Angela Desveaux, editor in chief of WedLuxe magazine will be standing in as guest speakers, as if sumptuous canapés, bridal eye-candy, lively music, forever- indebted-to-you girlfriends, and on-hand artists (including Christina Esteban Photography, Clever Cupcakes and Jem Makeup) weren’t enough to ignite irrepressible ticket booth desires. These two driven women define visionary uptown elegance and will undoubtedly be providing expert insight and instigating luxury love.
The whole affair takes place between 1-6 pm on Sunday December 6th, registration beginning at 1pm and wrapping up an hour later. Food and mingling preside over the first act, and at 4 pm, models and guest speakers reign. Included in the price of admission is a gift bag and an exclusive Diva Card, granting brides a 10% discount with all vendors and bridal boutiques present at the show. Bridal Boudoir is truly a fabulous opportunity to participate in an upcoming Montreal trend, so don’t miss out on this chance to eat, drink and be engaged like no Canadian bride has before!
